CHEERS! A Redesigned Vintage Bar Cart
One of my favorite past times is going to the thrift stores and looking for unique pieces of furniture or home decor. Some of my favorite items have come from thrift stores and always with a great discounted price!
The key to finding hidden gems is to go often. Most of my trips result in me coming home empty handed, but every once in a while you get really lucky-Like when I found this cute bar cart!
It was originally black, but with some metallic silver spray paint, I was able to make it look brand new and shiny! I am a big fan of the current bar cart craze and all things mid-century modern. Decorating the cart and getting the right amount of drinks and glasses displayed is half the fun! Plus it can easily be redecorated and re-vamped for each holiday!
I found the gold ice bucket at a thrift store as well and used green tinted glasses that were my mother-in-laws. Being able to incorporate these heirlooms is an added bonus for me. The scotch and whiskey collection is courtesy of my husband, and of course there is something pink and bubbly for me!
I added some gold floating shelves above the bar cart to give the wall space some functional decor and added storage for glasses. I am in love with how it all turned out and can’t wait to incorporate more decor for the holidays! The possibilities are endless!
