August's Mood Board Monday: An Eclectic Entry Way
So I missed a month…July got away from me. But I am back for August and this time with and entry way re-fresh. While the entry way can often be overlooked, it is the first impression people get of your home. It is easy to succumb to clutter and stray shoes scattered about. For this California couple I wanted to create a colorful and relaxing space that fit in with the rest of their condo. It is a space I wanted to feel welcoming!
To achieve this look I used a lot of mid-century modern furniture pieces that the space a classy, put together look. I suggested a subtle olive green accent wall that blends with their existing coral colors in the living room while adding contrast. Fun art pieces that the home owners were keen on, were incorporated-I love when clients get involved and help choose art work, it makes a room so much more personal!
